- Vršac is the town with about 40,000 inhabitants. The commune of Vršac is made up of 23 settlements, with the total number of over 65,000 inhabitants and it covers the area of 800km2.

- There is the Flight Academy in the town (the school for pilots) and a runway for the smaller planes, too.

- Vršac is mostly visited during the tourist manifestations, symposiums, excursions, sports competitions and so on. It has been estimated that there are about 60,000 visitors every year

- The Mesić Monastery – from the 16th century, 10km far from Vršac
- The Roman Catholic Church – dedicated to St.Gerhard, from 1863
